To purchase a VPS on Aruba, first visit their main page.
Click on the banner which says "Cloud VPS, from 2.79€ / month":
On the next page, scroll to the bottom, and choose the cheapest "€2.79+VAT/month" plan by clicking the green "Start now" button:
You will be taken to a page where you choose the amount you wish to pay.
Click "Continue" after entering the desired amount.
You'll be taken to a page where you fill in your personal details.
Fill in your personal details and click "CONFIRM" at the bottom of the page when you're done.
Afterwards you will be taken to the Order summary page where you will be able to see the final amount with VAT added:
Tick both boxes and press "Continue" to go to the Payment page:
Choose your preferred method of payment and pay. You'll be able to continue to the customer area afterwards:
Click on the CLOUD tab to go to the section where you will create and configure your VPS server:
NOTE: the text in the red box "AWI-XXXXXX" (XXXXXX is a sequence of numbers) is your username for the Control panel where you will set up your VPS.
The password for the Control panel is sent to you in a text message to your phone.
Click the "GO TO THE CONTROL PANEL" button and you will be taken to the Control panel login page:
Enter your login details for the Control panel and click "SIGN IN". You will be taken to a page where you can select the region of you VPS.
Pick a region from the marked row and click on it:
Now click on the "CREATE NEW SERVER" button to start configuring your VPS server:
You will be taken to the server configuration page.
First, choose the SMART option. Then enter your desired VPS name, and finally, click on "CHOOSE TEMPLATE".
After you click on the "CHOOSE TEMPLATE" button you will see this window with a list of operating systems. Scroll down in the left part of the window until you see Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS 64bit and click it.
The right part of the window will now show the details of your chosen operating system:
NOTE: Check that the icon pointed out on the picture above is green. This indicates IPv6 compatibility which you NEED to run multiple masternodes.
Click "CHOOSE THIS TEMPLATE" to finalize your choice of operating system. You will be returned to the server configuration page.
Now that you are back on the page, tick the box next to the "Configure also a public IPv6 address" text. This is very important as it will make configuring the rest of IPv6 addresses needed much simpler.
Continue by entering your chosen server password into the fields marked below.
DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSWORD. SAVE IT SOMEWHERE BECAUSE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO LOG INTO YOUR SERVER WITHOUT IT.
Also note that the username for your server is "root" (without the quotes).
Now choose the "Small" hardware configuration.
Finally, click on the "CREATE CLOUD SERVER" to finish the setup and create your VPS:
You will be taken to your server overview. Here you can see the VPS server you created:
The most important piece of infomation here is your server IP.
Save your server IP because you will need it to access your server!
Congratulations! You now have your own VPS on the Aruba hosting platform.
The first MN reward The average time it takes to receive the first reward is calculated in hours with the formula millions_locked_before_your_MN_is_enabled*2.6/60. At the time of writing the total number of millions that are locked in MNs is 2,500 million, so 2500*2.6/60=108.33 hours or approximately 4 days, 12 hours and 20 minutes.
